Est. 2023. Handmade objects
with old souls.
I started Malida Décor in April 2023 to bring together home décor pieces I naturally gravitate toward a mix of contemporary designer finds and one-of-a-kind vintage treasures. I choose each item myself, focusing on craftsmanship, texture, and pieces that feel intentional.
Everything is individually made or sourced, so nothing feels mass-produced or identical.
Sustainability has shaped the way I run this brand from the very beginning. I work with artisans and small design studios whose values align with mine — mindful production, small batches, and quality that lasts. Every piece at Malida Décor is created by independent makers across the U.K. and Europe. It's a way of reducing waste, supporting creative businesses directly, and keeping the collection thoughtful and responsible.
Desiree Masiela — Founder, Malida Décor
The idea behind Malida Décor began when I grew frustrated by how difficult it was to find unique, high-quality home décor that was sustainable, well-made, and still accessible without sacrificing design.
After spending more than a decade as a Freelance Content Producer and Content Manager for brands such as Anthropologie, Mejuri, Nibbling, and Brownsfashion building my own home décor brand became a natural evolution.
"I wanted Malida Décor to become a destination for those seeking handmade European and U.K. furnishings and décor that reflect individuality, story, and soul pieces that feel personal, timeless, and beautifully imperfect."
