Description
- The Nyra antique clay pot is a vessel from 1950s Ukraine a piece of primitive terracotta pottery shaped by hand and blackened by open fire. Its rounded body and single curved handle were made for everyday use, and age has since given it a second lease to life as a decorative old clay pot.The matte black surface has darker fire marks, traces of soot, and glimpses of the clay's natural colour beneath. These aren't flaws they're what defines authentic antique earthenware: tactile and imperfect. This is wabi-sabi home decor in its truest form.Nyra looks beautiful styled on wooden shelves, mantels, farmhouse tables and pairs well with dried grasses or sculptural branches. This is a rare piece of 1950s Ukrainian smoke-fired pottery and a perfect addition to any neutral homes.Care: Decorative use only. Handle with care to preserve the authentic patina. Each piece is unique.H:20 cm
