Description

This is an Authentic 1960s Moroccan Terracotta Clay Pot

This vintage terracotta jug was made in Morocco in the 1960s and was traditionally used for storing water or olive oil. Hand-thrown from natural clay, it has a warm earthy colour that warms up a home beautifully.

Pieces like this were commonly found in local Moroccan souks, where everyday pottery was sold for household use. Over time, the jug has developed a natural patina with small marks and variations that reflect its age and use.

Today it makes a striking decorative piece. It can be styled with dried branches, displayed on a shelf, or used as a sculptural piece with other clay pieces perfect for rustic, Mediterranean, farmhouse, or earthy interiors.

Slight imperfections are to be expected and are not considered faults, but part of the character of a handmade vintage piece.
