Description

We in love with this striped Turkish kilim pillow cover because of the hand-embroidered panel that breaks up the classic striping on either side.

The central panel is the real draw here dense, hand-stitched pattern set against plain stripes that keep the whole thing from tipping into busy. It reads as a considered piece rather than decorative for decoration’s sake.

Sits happily on its own as a focal point with other Turkish kilim pillow covers for a more fuller layered look.

The Turkish kilim pillow cover may appear slightly different depending on lighting conditions. Also bear in mind that this is a vintage cushion, so small imperfections, fading, or wear are part of its history, not a flaw.

Care & materials

Dry clean is the safest option for vintage kilim pieces, especially those made from handwoven wool. Shake or gently beat the cushion outdoors regularly to remove dust. For small stains, blot (don't rub) immediately with a clean, dry cloth.
